History of the house: First named Ferme Bouthillier (1st owner), then Manor McDougall, this villa was later nicknamed Ferme Outre-Mont, giving its name to the village that subsequently became the borough of Outremont in the city of Montreal.
Henri-Bourassa, founder of the newspaper Le Devoir, resided here in 1930.
