Overall, Laurel Lake is enviable compared to other lakes in the area. Its psycho-chemical parameters are stable or show a slight improvement since 2008. The watershed is small but as the lake has a small area, it drains very well and is one of the jewels of the Laurentians. A few minutes walk from the house, it is just perfect for the summer season.
